Our Journey
Black Market Records was founded in 1989 by Cedric Singleton. The label released albums by X-Raided and Brotha Lynch Hung, including Psycho Active and 24 Deep. However, disputes with Brotha Lynch Hung led to the label releasing his album The Virus without his permission in 2001. Lynch left the label in 2003.
Today, we are proud to be a hub for music collectors, connoisseurs, and those looking to explore sounds that are off the beaten path. Whether you're looking for a vinyl record, a digital track, or something completely unique, Black Market Records Music is your destination for underground music.
